A Family run florist established in 2009, Bright Blooms Floral Boutique continues to go from strength to strength. Now in our eighth year we are as committed as ever to excellent customer service and producing floral design of the highest quality.
Our stylish boutique is not only home to an ever changing array of stunning flowers, we also stock Plants, Pots and Plant based 100% natural body products and now we also sell "Jarrah Honey" products.
We categorically believe that quality is always more important than quantity, and so you will never find our bouquets padded with low quality flowers or foliage. Instead they are perfectly balanced products with greenery in a support role as nature intended. Our flower stock is of the highest grade, so expect large headed blousy roses, deeply scented large lilies and every stem to be worthy of a place in your bouquet.

Meet the team
Bright Blooms is a team of three, myself Annie head florist and owner, Ellen our Part time florist and Tracy my step Mum & owner, Tracy is responsible for the day to day running of the business, she looks after our advertising as well, you'll often see her doing all of our deliveries, she says this is her favourite part of the job.
Hello I’m Annie,
I was working at Bright Blooms on part time basis, training with the previous owner for about 3 years whilst studying floristry at “Kingston Maurward” Collage, I passed my Level 3 floristry with distinctions and was looking at my future and what to do! I went on holiday with my family in July 2016 and on my return I was informed that Bright Blooms would be closing down! The owner at the time asked if I would be interested in buying the business! Of course at 20 years old and having no money I went to see my Dad and Step mum to see what they thought….the rest as they say is history, here we are, a small family run business and I absolutely love my job, it’s even better being the owner!
My passion is flowers and I really do love working with them on a daily basis, Weddings are also extremely exciting for me too, as being a part of the couple’s big day and completing my work to a high standard is a big accomplishment. I feel that flowers are the most beautiful finishing touch to any event.
I feel very lucky to have my own business and I’m learning every day the trials & tribulations of running a successful business.
Hello I’m Ellen,
I’ve been working for Bright Blooms for 2 years now on work experience, which was just one day a week, I was worried when I heard that the business was to be sold, but delighted when Annie and her family bought the business in September and offered me part time hrs working around my training as a Level 2 florist at “Kingston Maurward” Collage, previously I was working at the Udder Farm shop which was great but my heart is in flowers and working as a florist.
I enjoy going to the gym weekly, walking my dogs and a cheeky G&T in the sunshine in the local Shaftesbury pubs and of course designing/creating beautiful Bouquets for our customers.
Bright Blooms is going from strength to strength and we look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful shop here in Shaftesbury, you can follow us on Facebook or Instagram to keep up to date with the flowers, pots & plants we get in fresh three times a week.
Any questions give us a call!
